The Ludlow Palmers raise money for the Conservation Trust for St Laurence, Ludlow; Charity Number 1114678

The 15th century tower of St Laurence Ludlow The Ludlow Palmers are a group of people who love St Laurence's church and wish to see it preserved in good condition for future generations. We raise money for the Conservation Trust for St Laurence which awards grants to the church to support projects designed to conserve the fabric and treasures of St Laurence's. The Conservation Trust is an independent body with no religious affiliation. As a body we are not involved in the religious life of the church and play no part in controversial discussions about the re-ordering of the interior.

The Ludlow Palmers produce a quarterly newsletter and organize a variety of events. These include talks on different aspects of the church and on conservation projects as well as a variety of fund-raising activities. Palmers receive a discount on all our events.

How can I become a Palmer?

You automatically become a Palmer by donating to the Conservation Trust and there is no minimum contribution. Many Palmers set up a monthly or annual standing order, while others prefer to make one-off donations from time to time.

People who help us to run the Conservation Trust and the Ludlow Palmers are donating 'in kind' by giving their time and expertise, and are automatically enrolled as Palmers.
